Could someone tell me how loneg does it take to hatch Bantam chicken eggs, is it the same as larger chickens?

Yes it's the same, except they sometimes hatch a day or two early.

I just hatched a variety of breeds at once and all the bantams hatched on day 20 and the rest on 21 and 22.

I know I should not fret or even bug the poor little eggs so soon, but I candled a couple just now. I so love to watch them developing in there. I am just starting Day 4 and I don't see anything going on in there yet. A couple just looked somewhat darker at the top, fat end of the egg.

I hereby swear not to open the bator except to turn the eggs and no more candling until Day 8. Should I have seen anything like veins yet though?

wait til Day 10 if you can. Chances are better then of seeing good development..... then you are sorta suppose to leave them til day 18.......... Never works for me. How many eggs do you have in the bator? What kind are they?

I have seven silkie eggs in there. The excitement is killing me!

It can be breed/strain specific. My Brahma Bantams always hatch on Day 21. My Delawares always hatch on Day 20.
