incubating cold eggs

has anyone incubated refridgerated fertile eggs? any success>? my old neighbor told me he use to hatch from eggs that were placed in the fridge. I told him I didn't think that was possible.

It's possible to get a hatch out of refrigerated eggs, but it does reduce the hatch rate significantly.

I had 50% hatch on the cold eggs. it could be the cold or high hen percentage to rooster.
