Incubating Coturnix Quail Eggs

OK so I'm hearing you've all set like 60 and 40 eggs!! I'm getting ready to set 15 that were shipped to me and it is my very first time incubating! I'm scared to death and already a nervous wreck and I don't even set them until tomorrow after they've sat for 24 hours!! I don't know how you all do it!! I've got my temp at 99.5 my humidity is climbing to the 50% mark hoping it all goes smoothly!! Any advice?! I'm trying cortunix quail.

Haha, I don't have very many more than you! Ours should hatch close together. Good luck!

Don't be nervous last 3 days are most crucial with humidity I set 30 my first hatch ended up with 15 birds for shipped eggs if you don't do as well as you think let me know I'll ship you another dozen.

I'm hoping to have a good hatch! Lol its my first time ever and all I can think of is total disater! I'm over the hovabator constantly checking it!! So far so good but I just set them this morning after humidity issues! I'm in tn and its very humid here today!! That's very sweet of you!! Thank you!! I can see why its addicting though already! I'm glad they're quail eggs and not my scovy eggs or I'd die from anxiety!!

aaaw that stinks! Yes we've had a couple hatches under a broody now and pulled the lings to put them in a broody box because they both had a couple eggs that needed help after external pip they failed to zip and yes they do stink! Lol they're the cutest little boogers but I could never keep the bedding dry for more than a day because instead of drinking the water they play in it!:gig so then the cage just stunk! Luckily we have a 15 acre farm and live in tn so its warm and they go outside fairly quickly!!!

I'll have to try that next time around! These lings were soo very tiny I think they might've hatched a little early so I'm not sure if they could've reached but its def worth a try! How many and what kinds do you have?
