Is this ok to do? What is the ideal temp/humidity for this and are they ok to be brooded together once they hatch?

Thanks!

I will be using an Rcom Suro if that makes any difference. Thanks.

I'm not sure. Brooding might be a problem simply because of size differences. No idea about the incubating, but I'll be watching!

Are you getting eggs?

Okay, ducks are a given. But are you going to be hatching SNIPES????? Is snipe hunting a big thing in Scotland?

(it's a really big thing to go snipe hunting here in the southeast US....)

Thanks! Are you misting them? Are the temps any different?

I have yet to start misting them. Some wait till after day 5 I have read all kinds of different things about misting and not misting and cooling once a day with misting right before you put them back in. The temps are the same 99.5 or there about. I am also reading up on bringing down the temp to 98 on lockdown..... I haven't read enough about it to really understand if it was just a few people doing it or everyone. Check down in the geese threads for the Dewlap incubation thread. Pete is doing a diary of his incubation and has been very helpful with all my questions. I am sure he will help you out as well.
