My Indian Runner eggs are on Day 25 of incubation. One of the eggs has a space at the pointy end of the egg, on the opposite side of the air cell (the air cell also seems maybe slightly smaller than the others). All of the other eggs are completely dark on this side. There are still veins and it's still moving but I've never seen this before. I have attached a photo. I was just wondering if anyone has seen this before and if its maybe positioned wrong? Will this affect hatching at all?

I've hatched around 400 silkie eggs this year alone and don't think I've ever seen that either. Not sure it'll make it to hatch time, but if it does, maybe it'll hatch just fine.

If it makes it to hatch time still alive, and isn't out like the rest of them, then I'd consider it might need help. Here's a great article in case you wind up having to.

Wishing you a great hatch!
