So I have 41 duck eggs in my incubator right now the first few days I had them on their side but as I read in a few threads if the pointed end down on my chicken eggs (and low duck eggs) isn’t pointed downward then it’s now ideal so with such a failed hatch I started to wonder if it was bc I had the eggs on their side and the chicks ended up not where they needed to be at pip so after a few days I put in my new egg turner but read for duck eggs the turner is good for chicken eggs not so
Much for duck eggs so I guess first question

If I were doing chickens (it doesnt even look like this egg turner is turning lol so
I’m worried it’s not actually turning the eggs) so
To be sure that it is should I turn them my self
Anyways just in case turner isn’t working ?

Considering these are duck eggs and maybe my turner is not actually turning them properly how should I
Turn them by hand should I keep the fat end up or flip them around ?

After candling I got a lot(more than half ) of
My eggs with good strong veins in the eggs ! But the veins /embryo seem
To be right again st the air cell so I’m afraid they aren’t being turned enough in turner n they are getting stuck shouldn’t they be forming somewhere in the middle was I better off
With them laying on their sides ? I only ask bc I was afraid on their sides they wouldn’t be forming where they need to be to be near the air cell etc but now
They seem forming
Right against the air
Cell anyways

I attached some photos so I’m not being too confusing so finally my question is this I have 4 chicken eggs due between tomorrow and Tuesday In lockdown looks like one is popping it’s way out although I think I see a internal pip and I’m concerned bc though it’s near the fat end it’s more in middle ??? So it may be too late for them I got
Others this far and they die right before hatch and I have no idea why prolly bc this was my first attempt at hatching myself lol but I want to do everything I can to
Increase chances so right now I have my duck eggs in egg turner it’s like day 5-6 and more than half look similar the below pics so
I’m hoping this is a good start but he other half is it possible they may still start developing or Should they all
Look the same and be at the same point ?

How do I turn the duck eggs if they are in a egg turner tray so I just sort of spin them around slowly or switch which end is up ? I don’t want them getting stuck to their sides ! Also I have three turkey eggs in there will it be a problem hatching them together ? The below eggs were placed all at same
Time should I be worried some look further along then others lol bc it’s weird !
