Hi ive ordered some eggs which I plan to incubate . My son is getting his incubator for Christmas . The eggs will arrive on the 21st and will have been laid on the 19th How long can they be left before incubation ? Any tips for me as we have never done this befure now

Ideally, give the Christmas gift early. Let the eggs rest at 60 degrees for a day after travel (said to help reattach air sack if damaged in shipping). Ideally, start incubating on the 22nd for best hatch rate. However,, be sure to start incubating by Boxing Day (within a week after hatching).

Ditto!!

Also, maybe give your son his gift on Christmas Eve Eve (the 23rd  )
