I tried to hath chicken and turkey eggs (not together) last year with poor results :( I am new to BackYard Chickens and thought all you experienced people out there would like to give me your tips and secrets to getting a successful hatch.
Thanks May

Hi May, your turkeys have a longer incubation period than your chickens. You'll want to have them in first and also they really need the baby chicks to help serve as guides during the first few days for eating and drinking. I'm sure others will want to give some help too and hope you'll be hatching again this year!!!! Love to see those little Googly eyed poults!

Yes just put chicken eggs in the incubator this morning. I read up as much as I could and was more careful this time. I tend to get nervous and second guessing myself.
