I am planning on incubating some goose and duck eggs but I only get a few a day. I've been setting them aside in a basket untill I have enough to incubate but I don't know how long they will stay good. I know that chickens wait to sit on their eggs till they have a clutch, so I thought they would be okay sitting out for a while. Anyone know how long they can sit out without effecting the egg?

after ten days your fertility can start to be affected. I'd say collect for 7 days to be on the safe side.

put them small end down in a egg carton and prop up one end swap ends daily. 10 days is the max.
