Incubating eggs

Well, this is day 28 and I finally have a pip. Just a little hole, about three hours ago. Only one egg so far.

Most of them are Amerucana. My vet gave me a dozen eggs from his flock and they will lay white eggs. The Amerucana are mine from a Easter Egger hen and Red Wyandott rooster. The first chick just hatched from an green egg. It is black. Can't tell if it is a hen or a rooster.
