Watch the humidity! It's important for different breeds. Some need to be drier some need to be wetter. Goose eggs are said to be more difficult to hatch, I haven't hatched any myself so I'm not sure. Standard recommended humidity for waterfowl is 55%. The egg should lose 13-15% it's water by weight before hatch. Chinese geese can be hatched at this humidity. Brecons and Pilgrims tend to be too wet while Africans tend to get too dry. Otherwise I'm pretty sure it's the same.

If it helps, 55% humidity is below the usual humidity in a room. Except where I live. It's dry as anything here. x-x You could try to get a cheap thermometer that includes Relative Humidity (RH) to make things easier. For Brecons and Pilgrims, you may want to try setting them earlier in the spring while it's wetter?

I got alot of this out of a goose book, Domestic Geese by Chris Ashton. You may want to get Hollderead's book, it's amazing.
