Hello all I am new to this site, this being my first post I thought I would just let you know what I am up to, as I am typing this I have 2 eggs from 12 eggs set 21 days ago in the incubator, a mix of 6 buff rocks & black leghorn bantams. 9 of the eggs were blank, and one has died about half way through, we did not have much luck with this batch, leaving a little buff rock and black leghorn, now having the hard task of escaping from their shells, which they are doing right now along side of me, the odd little cheap from time to time faintly in the distance. So I hope by the end of this evening or through the night we should have 2 new addition to the family. They are going to join my fathers flock of birds when they have come off the heat and have grown somewhat.

On top of that in my second incubator, which I have the use of from a friend. I have set 22 eggs gold Dutch bantams, due to hatch on the 12th of march which just happens to be my birthday, any that push into the 13th will be hatching on my youngest sons birthday. We hope to have more look this time, but its very early days yet, they have only been in 48 hrs. so fingers cross
