Incubating help

Today is my 6th day for incubation all seems well when I looked at the humidity pot it was empty. I am using the brinsea mini adv incubator. Was this correct to fill the pot up again?
I will probably need more help along the way.

I've never used a Brinsea incubator before, but it should periodically display the current humidity inside the incubator (should be 50-55% during this stage if I remember correctly).
If your incubator doesn't display humidity levels, I would DEFINITELY suggest you buy a hygrometer.
