Incubating I think my two eggs were infertile

hey everyone I had posted on here past week as I had my only two ducks back to back get killed. I was only left with five of their eggs which I put in a Brinsea mini eco incubator. I had hit day 8 on the first two I put in and I’m so upset it appears they were not fertile to begin with. I peeked at one other one that is same day as other two and it looks the same. I’m too scared to candle at the other two and see the same thing and get really bummed out. I’m not taking their deaths very well as was really hoping I could get at least one offspring from my poor ducks. On day three is it okay to have not much appear yet? Even though it appeared they mated all the time did he maybe not actually mate mate? Pic attached of my day 8 egg both look the same. Thanks
