I am getting ready to put some eggs in the incubator tomorrow and I am wondering about putting them in the egg cartons in the incubator. Which type of cartons do you use? How do you turn them? My incubator is a home made incubator and you can turn the shelves back and forth. Is this ok for turning them? Is three times a day enough? Also I have egg turners but they do not fit flat in the shelves, so to use them I would have to leave them in at a slant. Is that ok or should I not use them at all? Sorry for all the Questions, I am just wondering what I should do.

Thanks

Use the cardboard egg cartons. You need to turm you eggs at least 3 times a day. You can just till the bator to one side.

Thanks hopefully I will be able to give advice one of these days instead of just asking for some.

Do you have pretty good luck with cartons?

I used cartons until last year. Now I use egg flats that I get free from a local diner. They hold 30 eggs each. I have good results with both methods.
