Hi everyone! So just on monday i got a Brinsea Mini Advance incubator and a 12 quail egg holder and am currently waiting till tomorrow so i have 12 eggs in total. this certain incubator has many different options. but what temp should i set it to it says 37.5-37.8 so which shall i go for and for the whole process shall the temp stay the same? also it features auto turning so how long(in mins) after each turn shall i choose? and also what is the most common hatching date for jap quails- is it 16/17/18 or more and when shall i stop the turning? any advice would be really appreciated. thanks in advance!

thanks for your help, thats great

We are also using the Brinsea advanced , our quail eggs have only been in the incubator 9 days and four are starting to move. My question is should we turn off the automatic turner at this point? Help

@Borski 9 days in the incubator is too early to turn off the auto turner. The earliest you would want to turn it off is at 14 days (I have heard some do 13 days but can be risky).

I've hatched a bunch with the turners still on. Not because I wanted to but I forgot about them. I use Google calendar now.
