Incubating mail order eggs in the summer

I've had eggs posted to me, they took two weeks to arrive, would they be still worth incubating or have they been too long in transit? Thanks
There are a lot of factors that can affect them. You will probably have worse rates due to their age but some can still hatch, the heat during transit is probably the biggest factor. How hot has it been? What are the odds they were left in a hot delivery truck? Were they in a sweltering warehouse, were they just sitting on a shelf at the post office? It’s hard to know what they’ve been thru. If it were me, I would set them, and cross my fingers, but also let the shipper know what happened and try to set up a reship.

Odds are pretty bad. Most likely none will hatch. If they don't arrive within that same week I order I ask the seller to resend some eggs. They know that two weeks in unacceptable for hatching eggs. After 7 days viability goes down considerably.

The weather has been mild enough, around 18°C or lower. Don't know what the delay was so don't know what way they have been handled. Sure I'll put them in anyway and see what happens 👍🏻
