Hello there, I have a hen that is setting on her 12 eggs right now and I hope they all hatch. The issue is, she is only setting on eggs of her own and they have already started to develop. She can't fit anymore since she is a bantam, but I had wanted to hatch out some from my other chickens. So I decided I would build my own incubator and get it started and all that to hatch out my own.

I just have one question really pertaining to that. What do you do about the turning at night? I have High School to attend and cannot be up all night rotating the eggs. My mother said she would rotate them once while I am at school so that is all fine. But would it be a problem if I didn't rotate them from the hours of 9 or 10 to 5:30 in the morning? Would that kill them all or would they end up fine?

This seems like basic stuff, and I have hatched out over a hundred chicks, but those are all from my broody hens, and mostly from that one that's setting now. She can only hold 12 of her own and 5 of any of our others, so I would like to be able to hatch out some more chickens, other than Mille Fleur d'Uccles.

Thank you for all of your help
Samantha
