I am incubating some quail eggs and it's day 16 and 4 eggs have piped I have op and the incubator to check on the eggs to see if I can still hear them moving witch I could. But now I am having anxiey if thay will be ok sync I have opened the incubator will thay be ok:confused:

More than likely they will be ok....just check and make sure the humidity came back up, if not, add some more warm water to the bator.

I purchased an additional thermometer /hydrometer to put in my bator (actually I have 3 extera right now) because I didn't trust the read out on my cheap knock off . It has given me much peace of mind and helped me iimprove my hatches

I have a janoel incubator and it doesn't say the humidity
Walmart sells a fairly cheap temp/humidity monitor, Accurite, about $9 plus tax, you can calibrate it using the salt method. Should read 75% humidity after 24 hours. I use to use them before I had my current setup. They may read high or low but you can figure what the %level is pretty close to actual humidity.
