Incubating Quail

Okay guys. I'm getting ready to set some eggs. My incubator temps fluctuate between 98.7 and 100.8, but don't stay at either long. Think this will be okay? I've got a closed container of water in there with the hopes that it'd stabilize them.

A fluctuation that large will not yield good results... What are you using to measure temperature?

You need at least two calibrated thermometers- any built in readers are usually off by quite a bit.

Thank you! I decided to try the water wiggler trick to see what my egg temp is. Just waiting for it to get up to temp now.
