I have 5 turkey poults, hatched 01/21/2025. They've obviously grown a bit and are getting fairly restless in their brooder. I have a mobile yard pen I wanted to let them have outside time in, but the high for during the day is about 60 currently. I havent seen them go under their heat plate in awhile, even when the house gets chilly at night. How cold would be too cold for them to get some fresh air during the day?

I am guessing that you mean 1/21/2026 because if they were hatched in January 2025 they would be adults now.

At three weeks old, they should be acclimated to 75°F temperatures. On sunny, calm days it won't hurt to let them outside (supervised) for a little while but you should wait until they are around 6 weeks old before letting them out for extended periods at a time.
