We have a Dickey cabinet incubator that has 3 drawers and a hatcher. The hatcher is on the bottom. We cant see if the eggs have hatched or not . They went in lockdown on Friday and are due today. So do I check the hatcher today or wait until tomorrow? This is the first hatch with this bator.
Thanks
Rita

Wow, that's tough not being able to see! Hard to know if one is in trouble. You should be able hear some peeps soon. If you decide to look and there are any trying to zip I would add a hot, wet rag to bring the humidity back quick. Hope all goes well? Hope you get some response from someone who has used this type of hatcher.

Just check quickly. If you still see unhatched eggs, close it back up. The swift change won't cause too much havoc. If you are still worried, get a spray bottle with REALLY HOT water and mist a bit before closing.
