Thanks everyone but 2 days ago when i got told buy the guy that gave me the button eggs... its been a few days and appeared to stop picking... they said to pick him out a little air hole... i just picked a tiny whole but the whole egg caved in... it was hard boiled i cooked er.. i went over to his house and i was a little sad that i was all happy for actually a hard boiled egg... the incubation was the first i ever done and turned out ok why because out of all the 16 eggs 8 button quail 8 serama and 1 pheasant i seen one of the serama eggs busted out a little... and i was like yeeeppp here we go hard boiled... (around noon) then i heard some chirping so i was all exited... i ended up picking him out but NOT pulling him out of the remaining half of the shell... so hes or shes been out for about 13 hours now and is chirping away and neck muscles are stronger hes picking the crap out of his feathers and fixing himself up... hes mostly dry 10% wet 90% dry and he frequently rests and sets his head down... he flapped out his wings once... hes doing pretty goood. The only think is i put a tiny cap of water in the bator and some ground to powder chick starter... dipped his beak in both of them a few times he'll drink it but then runs away from the food + water. still has the cord thingy attached to him. i just dont want him to dehydrate what do you guys think>>???
thanks
