Right now I have a dove egg that I rescuded and should hatch this week!!!! I candle it every other day and right now, the whole egg is filled except for the air cell.

You had the best intention to hatch that egg and your dog probably thought you had a treat for him or something. Even though things ended up not working out, you did the best you could do to. I know you are sad and upset, I'm so sorry this happened to you. As long as you do your best thats all you can do.

Hugs to you, you should be proud of yourself for trying and seeking out resources to help you accomplish your goal of hatching the egg. Most people would have left it there for the dogs or animals. Picking it up and trying to save it says alot about who you are as a person. Be proud of yourself for that.
