Incubating too fast??? HELP!

I am starting Day 10 tonight at 6pm. I have candled the past few days, b/c it's my first hatch, and I can't resist.

Anyhoo, I took 2 (out of 12) eggs out today and opened them, b/c they were clearly no-gos. Turns out they weren't fertilized.

But the crazy thing is, I swear my chicks looks like the Day 12 photos, not day 9! Why is this?

My temps are always 101-102. Too high for still air?

I'm not sure about your temp but I don't think I would worry about they development as long as things are still moving along.

Your temp for a still air is good. I wouldnt worry about it as long as they appear to be doing good.
