I have a question about hatching turkey eggs. The ones I have hatched did better in an automatic turner, now I am told on another turkey forum that turkey eggs that are incubated in an automatic turner have a bigger chance of being hatched with spraddle leg and that laying on their side and being turned only occasionally is better for turkey eggs. The reason given is that in a turner they are only "wobbling from side to side" and it puts them on their legs constantly, hence the spraddle leg. I am seriously thinking about one more bator full before my hens stop laying since they still look fertile. (they still have a bullseye)
Anyone???
Anyone???
