incubating

oh, sorry, i meant i know they will hatch if there is a male around!! sorry
 
how would i incubate duck eggs without a incubator, would the female pekin duck lay on it?
pekins typically dont go broody and dont make the best mamas I believe, your best bet would be incubating, but you could attempt letting her try, simply let her lay a clutch, not so many that she can't cover them comfortably, mark the eggs. I would still get an incubator just in case she abandons them etc. Others with experience on broodies might help further, I don't know much on the subject and have only hatched usung an incubator 😊 good luck
