Has anyone ever incubated peafowl eggs in an lg still air incubator. We have an lg we use and might have a chance to get some free eggs as an experiment. Has anyone had any luck.

I recieved 9 eggs late in the season and put four in a counter-top incubator and none of them hatched. I put the other five under a broody chicken and had three of them hatch. Fertility could have been low since I didn't set them until August. Breeding season is over for the year so I believe you are going to have to wait until next year to get any fertile eggs. Good Luck!

I hatched three out of four in a moving air GQF styrofoam incubator this year. The other died early on. Anyone added air to one of the still airs? I could easily get a 110V fan that is much like what they use and add it to my other unit. Its hatch rate is lower for other breeds that I have hatched(mostly quail), but I have not put any pea eggs in it.
