Incubating!

Hey All!! i am going to be incubating tomorrow for my very first time!! i am making a homemade styrofoam incubator! i am so excited, but, sadly i haven't even made the bator, yet... its going to be made today. so i have a question. i am going to incubate our bantams eggs and do they take less time to hatch? because i thought my others in july ( natural incubation) only took 18 or 19 days. or was that me not keeping track of time properly? and if so, do i do lock down sooner?
and also can i just put 5 in? because i probably won't have that many by tomorrow.or will that mess it up?

They should take just as long. And what do you mean by "only putting 5 in?"

Oh, the number of eggs in a bator doesn't matter. You could even incubate only one if you wanted to.

ok cool! bc my chickens don't lay too many eggs. bantams at least, the ones that are fertilized
