If I measure at the top of the eggs is 100 degrees in my autoturner... When I put them in the carton for lockdown, the top is the same... Do I need to adjust this temperature if I intend to lay them on their sides next time? And if not, will this delay my hatch any?

You know it! Lol.

100 may delay your hatch for a few hours, but no real damage will be done. That is for still air. Forced air, like mine, 100 causes early hatches. And guess what? Mine sits at 100 constantly and mine hatch on day 20.

Sweet! I didn't really like the egg carton thing. I tried it and chicks were getting stuck and flipping everywhere. So this next time, on their sides they go...
