I need little help. This is my second round of incubation. Both times I have placed 12 eggs. Last batch only 2 eggs fully developed only one successfully hatched. This time so far 7 of the 12 started developing but looks like only 3 are progressing. They are due 24th of this month I’m afraid the last 3 won’t make it. Idk what I’m doing wrong.

First get a couple extra thermometers to put in the incubator to know the actual temp (don’t trust the incubator temp) and adjust the incubator temp accordingly. Also make sure your turner is working properly or you are hand turning at least 3 times daily. Quality and source of your eggs is also important as is how they are treated pre incubation. Shipped eggs can be great or a disaster and there isn’t much you can do about that. Eggs exposed to freezing temps or heat (80 plus) for a couple hours or more are more likely to have issues as are old eggs (10 days or older at start of incubation). Also tracking when your embryos quit, along with hatch rates etc can help you see trends and identify problem areas. Open your dead eggs and see when they died and possibly why, it Will also help you learn and identify problems.

Ok. Yeah I have auto turner I do check multiple times a day to make sure it is turning. I could def be the temp I did not know that the thermostat could be off so much. I will say couple of the eggs were more then 10 days they are from the same hen. She is my favorite girl I really wanted few babies from her so far I got 1 and even she had hard time hatching. I had to help her.

I would get yourself a Govee or other brand hygrometer/thermometer as I'm guessing the temp is your issue. I have about 6 Govees and a few others as I've got three incubators and not one is accurate.
