hello
So I ordered some eggs online and the breeder was nice enough to send me more than my incubator could hold so I bought a new incubator that holds 56 eggs it’s a Chinese model I was able to keep temperature steady at 100-101 with egg turner in it for a day. But now I tried it without egg turner to act like the eggs will be in lockdown and in the expand of 2 min and 30 seconds the temperature changes from 99.3-102.
It just keeps doing that over and over. Do y’all think it’ll affect the eggs at lockdown?

This is how it will look at lockdown and how it is when temperature changes in those 2 minutes.
I’m using the thermometer inside and ignoring the incubator thermometer since I believe the one inside is accurate since I’ve had good hatches with my old incubator

Thanks in advance for anyone that can help

I don't know if this will be helpful but my incubator throughout the whole 3 weeks went up and down between 98.5 and 101.7...my hatch hasn't finished yet but I have 10 chicks so far!

I am constantly checking and rechecking my thermometer and make adjustments as needed based on the one that I trust...... Don't know that that helps any......

Let me know how it goes what kind of incubator do you have ?
