Incubation Timing Issue

I have a problem. I started an incubation of 30 quail eggs a little while ago without looking at what day the hatching would occur. My "day 15" will start Saturday at 4:00pm. I normally take the auto turner out at the start of "day 15". I am leaving town Tuesday evening (start of "day 13") and will not be back until Monday at noon (end of "day 16").
Should I take them out of the auto turner at the start of day 13 or leave the auto turner on through day 16?

I’ve never done quail eggs before, just different kinds of chicken eggs. My lockdown, when I take the egg turner out, is on day 18.

That is a tough one. I think I would take it out before I left. I typically do lockdown on day 14 anyway with my quail and would hate to have babies trying to hatch in a turner.

Before you leave!

I just did the same thing, ha. Lockdown at day 13 also I want to say. They're popping like popcorn on day 18 right now.
Very good to hear! Thanks, I think I will pull the auto turner on Thursday evening (start of day 13) and let them sit. Its times like that I am glad I never worry about humidity!
