incubator and humidity

Our incubator does not have the humidifier feature. Does it matter? Is there anything else we can do for humidity?

Buy a hygrometer to check humidity. Humidity is most important during lockdown. Adding a wet sponge in there will help if your incubator doesn’t have water channels/tunnels.

Should I just buy a humidifier? The incubator can accommodate one.

Hi there, we just finished our hatch in the little giant, it has a fan and we got the automated egg turner, we cleaned it after we took the chicks out, and set it up for new batch of eggs, but the humidity is to high, keeps saying 80% and I didn't put that much water in the channels, I don't want to put the new eggs in when it's so high
