Maybe some one already address this. I have hatched using my Brinsea 56EX incubator a few times. I've taken it apart to clean it. But the plastic bearings that holds the screws are starting to crack and fall apart. And i did not force the tightness. Is there another way of cleaning this thing up? Especially the top with the fan and controls? $500 does its job great. Very happy with the results. But if i have to take it apart like this to clean, its not going to survive its 1st year. If that happens to be the case, I would warn everybody to stay away from Brinsea unless you want to spend $ every year for a new one. Even Brinsea doesn't show you how to clean the incubator. Anybody ever use the 3 year warranty?

Hi there! If you're having problems with the screws you're more than welcome to contact our office. If the incubator is under warranty we may be able to send out a new lid or new screws depending on what you need. Just give us a call! (888) 667-7009.
