Incubator display question

I have the Kebonnix if the display read 01 days that is day 20? I am starting to question my understanding of it.

I'm not familiar with the Kebonnix so I don't know. But you can calculate it yourself instead of depending on AI.

What date did you put the eggs in the incubator? What day of the week was it? An egg does not have 24 hours worth of development the instant you put it in the incubator. That's why you start counting by saying "1" the day after you started it. A lot of people get that part wrong, they think you say "1" when you put them in. That is incorrect.

An easy way of checking your counting is that the day of the week you put them in is the day of the week the 21 days are up. If you put them in on a Friday, the 21 days are up on a Friday. That can really help your confidence in your counting.

Not every chicken egg hatches on the 21st day. It is not that unusual for one to be a day or even 2 days early or late. But at least the day of the week method can help you with your counting.
