I have been reading in different posts that the fan helps keep the temperature even throughout the incubator. This makes sense to me, but I was wondering if people still find that the eggs closest to the light are warmer than the eggs further away (obviously this question is to those who use a bulb in their incubator rather than a different heating element). I have seen some people fashion a heat guard, but this seems counter intuitive as that would also diminish air flow... Thoughts? Basically, I am just wondering if people still end up with a hot spot close to the light, and whether the eggs that end up near the light are going to be hooped.
