Incubator Hatch Question

Had a hatch from the incubator early this morning. Had a momma hen with a hatch this past Sunday (4 days ago). Will the new hatchling be okay if we put it in with the Sunday born hatchlings? Or do we need to put it in a brooder?

I've never done it, but it seems that you could try. (Although, someone with more experience may have other advice!)

You would want to keep a very, very close eye on things and make sure she's caring for the new chicks and they're keeping up. Just make sure the new chicks are pretty strong on their and I think you can give it a try. I'd also try sooner rather than later so the chicks readily take to "Mom".
