I am re-building an old incubator and I need a new heat source. It was a medical incubator about 20 years ago and I cannot seem to get the original heating source to work. I was going to replace it with a standard size light bulb but I don't want to use up that much space. I was thinking of using a T10 tube light bulb and laying it down (using this socket http://www.1000bulbs.com/product/53734/SOCK-L10092FL.html) to save space for the egg trays. Has anyone used that bulb? would it be powerful enough?
Thanks in advance
