I have a 4 egg incubator, and I need to know how the chicks need to be in it. I will explain. Its got kind of a bowl shaped depression for the eggs to sit in. Bottom of the bowl has a hole. My question is, how do the chicks stand in this? Once they zip, do I move them into a brooder to finish, or leave in the incubator. There is no room for the chick to leave the shell, it would have to stand where it is until it dries? Any help asap, as I have 2 pips. Thanks all.

It's too late to do anything since you have pips. Ideally if the eggs are really squeezed together in there, you would put them at an angle if at all possible so that they are not completely upright. You do have the fatter end of the egg up, don't you? The chicks should be ok. If they fully hatch and seem to get stuck with just their butts sitting in the bottom of the shell then they will be fine for a while. Let them all finish hatching, if they do, and then help them.

Currently, since 4 am its zipped to this point. Still tweeting, not sure if I should assist.
