Currently, since 4 am its zipped to this point. Still tweeting, not sure if I should assist.

The chicks should be fine in the bottom of the shells for a while. If one hatches and the others take another day or more, the first one will probably find a way to wriggle out fully. How long has it been exactly that much zipped?

I got home, its out and was sprawled across the other eggs, i put in brooder, out of fear of hurting itself...its flopping around, still a little wet, but is active.

No, but i tapped the cells and got tweets from 2 out of 3 left. I candled the one with no tweet, looks like it didnt even get a week in. I was told now. To candle in beginning, then day 17, is that right?

This chick is also caked with crud...is that ok? Do i need to clean it?

A little crusty doesn't matter. Big things are keeping vent area clear and that the eyes aren't crusted shut. Bring water to temp in small bowl first and don't get water in nose/mouth.
