Incubator help?

No offence but I have done some reading and the reviews from the LG arn't great. I am thinking a basic hova bator could be the way to go...

Now my problem is going be finding fertile silkie eggs in Canada...
Would american hatcheries be able to ship to Canada? None of the Canadian hatcheries have silkies from what I've seen....

I dont think they can ship out of the us, maybe a breeder here on byc from Canada has them, you should post a thread in the hatcheries and breeders section.

Here is my DIY incubator. It does not have a thermostat and you have to turn the eggs by hand and adjust the temperature with a dimmer switch, but I just hatched 6 out of 6 Cortunix Quail eggs and have 6 lovely little chicks! The first picture is of my first hatch where I ordered eggs from eBay and 8 out of 12 hatched.
