Hello, I was wondering if anyone has information on how to lower incubator humidity for a Genesis 1588 Hova Bator. It recommends a humidity level of 45-55%, and the incubator says 61%. I filled the troughs with water just as the manual told me to, I didn't have this problem until I actually put the eggs in. There is a little red vent plug, but the manual doesn't recommend taking it out during the setting phase, it just says it might need to be removed during or after the hatching phase. I know I might be overreacting, seeing as how I put them in maybe 10-15 minutes ago, but I'm still a little worried. Any advice would be helpful. Thank you!

I always put red plugs in to keep humidity up 55-60 ok but want a little higher when you stop turning at least that is what I do

I think you can remove the red plug for a bit to get the humidity down. Just keep an eye on it.
