incubator idea

I got a question im hoping someone who kbows bout electronics could answer. I see those emerson 8 & 12 bottle wine chillers out there for cheap. They are thermoelectricl controlled. Those are just plates where one side gets hot and one side gets cold right? Could I flip that plate around to make it an incubator instead of a cooler? Its got a thermostat, its adjustable, and i have to get the inside dimensions but think a regular egg turner will fit into it. Im half tempted to buy one and try it and if it works, it woukd be a nice CHEAP incubator.. But figure id ask and see if anyobe knew for sure if itd work or if id be wasting money.

It may be cheaper to wait a few months until the cheap wine chillers that people are buying break down, take it off their hands for free and then build a incubator from it from directions here ar BYC. The glass front would be nice for an incubator.
