I will post more once i get the vents and seal installed.
In case you are wondering the switches light up when turned on, they are in this order from left to right ,Power , heating element , fan , turners.
the heating element and fan are both hooked to the thermostat.

Wow, nice bator!

I'm try'n to figure out the pic deal. I'll post pix when I get it figured out.....

MoHillbilly, you have got it down. I really like your incubator. Will Look even better with stain/paint. My favorite part would have to be the switches.

How much would you sell an incubator like that for?

MoHillBilly, You sure build a fine bator.... Dont look like you can buy one like that! I'v been work'n on a couple for the last few weeks too. I dont need a full size cabinet bator. I have a brinsea eco 20 and love it, but its small some days. I'v built alot of foamies that work well but they always leave me wanting.... So I sat down and bashed some full sized cabinet bator plans I found on another site. Ended up with a mid size cabinet that I really like. I used a Ranco digital controller for the thremo on mine. I like it alot... The Brinsea sits great on the top, its got a load of chukar simmer'n now....

I cut a indicator light into the side of the controller, like to know when the GQF heat element is energized...

I set up a light fixture inside, up under the airfoil, no longer need a flash light to check for pips and temps.

It runs LG egg turners I cut in a power strip so they can be moved around or changed out as needed and no need for holes for the cords. I use the floor for hatcher duties....

Its full now and life is good!

I built a second clone of mine for a friend. Set this one up on a wafer thermo. Rock solid stable but I got lazy and did'nt cut in the Light or indicator on his....

Thanks for look'n... Bill

that one goes for 575.00 plus shipping ....It weighs 125 lbs ....I do make a lighter version that weighs about half that for the same money.

You need to sell plans for that! I know I would be interested!
I could make a set of plans for it or any size someone wants ..I would have to have 35.00 a set and i dont see many wanting to spend that for just plans.

Well, $35 for plans is out of my price range.

Ok, I have a humidity question... Humidity rises, so I am wondering why most cabinet incubators have the water at the top, wouldn't it be better with the water at the bottom? How do you get an even humidity in your incubator?

I know, but most cabinet incubators have powerful fans at the top that blow the moisture to the bottom. I have my humidity tray at the bottom of my incubator.

i actually prefer it at the bottom and on my smaller ones thats where i have it...i do have a shallow pan that fits in the bottom of this one...

Wow, that's one nice incubator! But what's the top, above the fan, for? Is that where you place yur humidity pan? I had the luck to actually inspect a GQF cabinet hatcher, and I see that your initial placement, aside from he humidity pan, is similar. I can also understand from what you told me earlier about the fan(s) I have being too weak for it. I'll try and find another one.

Also, what is that material you use for he insides? It resembles a refridgerator. Which, is awesome!

Thank-you Quintinp for the wiring diagram, I haven't used it yet(coz my head is killing me!) But I will later.
