incubator issues

I have hatched different eggs in my incubator probably at least a dozen times. This year I tryed all summer to hatch call eggs, they would get half to three quarters of the way through incubation and then just die, I have gone through probably 40 eggs and nothing. Any ideas on what went wrong?

Have you been thoroughly disinfecting after every hatch? If bacteria is in there it could easily be killing your chicks.

Yes, I clean with bleach water each time.

Most Call breeders had a difficult time this year, it was a rough year even for a lot of veteran Call breeders.

Does your incubator stay at a fairly constant temperature?
And how about your humidity? Fluctuation humidity can largely affect growth as well

The only time the temp changed was when I opened to rotate and mist the eggs. I also had a baby food jar full of water in there.
