I decided to give incubating and raising chicks a shot. I am on Day 0 and already tired of waiting lol. It's a mix of Celadon and Jumbo eggs. My birds are young, so I'm hoping the eggs are ready. I plan to look for some signs of life as soon as I can. Now I just have to research more to find out when to so that.

Good luck with your hatch :D

So I don't know how well these pictures show it but from what my amateur eyes could tell the eggs were fertile.

I was not able to resist and took out three eggs to candle. I saw red veins in all 3!! The only bad thing is one egg seemed to have double yolks with signs of life only in one. So now I need to do a little research, I thought I didn't choose any doubles. I'm assuming that they shouldn't be incubated.

They very, very rarely make it. If one is dead, it will probably take the other one with it.

Ok, would you recommend just taking it out now or seeing how it does. I was thinking of trying to candle most of the eggs at day 9 and remove any that don't look fertile to avoid any rotten explosions. I didn't know if with my inexperience I was better to just leave everything alone until day 14 when I stop turning or just the end when everyone should've hatched.
