I have 2 generic still air styrofoam incubators without turners. Is there anything I can do to improve hatch rates with blowing through a hundred bucks? The eggs on the edges get cold. Is there a good way to help "seal" the edges? Should I just buy the fan?

The eggs need air, they breathe. Getting the fan would be the best bet, you might be able to find a cheaper fan that fits. Some of these might work, and it's a whole lot cheaper than a new incu.

Hi kdpdolphin,
Rose's suggestion of a fan will help with better heat distribution. An accurate thermometer and humidistat would also be beneficial as built in units are notoriously inaccurate. Sealing the edges more would be detrimental in my opinion as air exchange is needed for the health of the embryo.
