i have a gqf hovabator #1602 i have adjusted the temp and got it down from 105 finally but it is showing three different temperatures and i just added a fan. one thermometer shows 99 another 99.5 and the other is 100.8 they are all in different locations what can i do to get it right thank you doug

First you have to make sure that the three thermometers give the same readings. Place them very close together and see. Hopefully they are within about 0.5 degrees of each other. If so that variation in your incubator is basicly normal.

I would place all 3 om your kitchen counter and check them after 1/2 hour or so and see what they read in room air temperature.
It's not uncommon for different thermometers to have different readings.

I have an old still air Brower incubator and I have the same problem. Your temperature range is better than what I have. I put 4 thermometers in and got 4 different readings. I finally went with the mercury filled thermometer that came with the incubator. I candled last night and everthing looks good. There is a lot of info in the incubation section if you do a search. Seems a lot of people have this problem. The Brinsea Spot Check thermometer seems to be the most recommended.
I'm personally just going to buy a better incubator,a Brinsea, because another problem I have is if the ambient room temperature fluctuates so does the incubator's temperature.
