Incubator not working

I'm still having problems with the humidity level in my incubator. It reads 22-25% what do I do?

Use a different humidity gauge. You can't really trust the ones built in on most incubators.

Make sure you calibrate it. That way, you can be sure of an accurate reading.

I put the hygrometer in the incubator and it read 87% so I did the calibration and it read 67%. Now what?

Trust the calibrated 67% reading. The incubator gauge is way off. What day are your eggs on, or have you not set any yet?

They have 8 days left.

If it's been that high the whole time, you may be in for a very poor hatch. Don't add anymore water to the incubator. Let it dry out a bit. Once you get your first pip, then raise up the humidity as much as you can.

Why would my incubator go bad so fast. I just got it and only on my 2nd incubation

Build in humidity gauges are incredibly unreliable. The one that came with mine has never been accurate.
